New telephone number

We have a new telephone answering service for those wishing to contact the committee by telephone.  It is a local number and for most people should provide a  better service:
01264 513299

New rates from April 1st

Weekday rates remain unchanged for 2012/13. There is a small increase for weekend bookings and a discounted rate for hiring the entire hall.

Town Hall Locks

The new front door has been converted from a combination lock to a lock and key.  To gain access go to the Coop on the opposite side of the High Street (open from 7:00 am every day of the week) and explain that you have a booking.   They can lend you a key.

externalWelcome to the Stockbridge Town Hall website. The Town Hall lies in the heart of Stockbridge, a former market town in Hampshire’s Test Valley. The wide and attractive High Street has free parking. This draws in many who come to enjoy a walk, a snack and a browse among the shops. This is an ideal site for functions or for sales activity.

The recently refurbished Hall has an attractive stairway, a lift and toilets on both floors, including disabled toilets. There are facilities for making tea and coffee on both floors.

The Hall is unmanned and it is therefore the hirer's responsibility to ensure it is used appropriately and safely. We expect hirers to nominate a person who understands the safety procedures set out in the terms and conditions.

The details of our rooms with plans and the prices for hiring them are shown in the hall rooms page. In brief there are:

Ground floor

The ground floor was refurbished in March. Both rooms and the kitchen are lighter and more spacious. The front room has plate-glass arched windows and doors which make it a very attractive retail space on Stockbridge High Street.

i. The Porter (front) room just off the High Street. This can be separated from or used together with
ii. the Barham (back) room.

There is a kitchen with a hatch into the Barham room.

First Floor.

The Hurford room (formerly the Upper Hall). This is a large hall with a stage at the north (High Street) end.
It can be reached by stairs or by lift and has a small kitchen attached.

To book a room, please complete the registration process. This is a once only procedure to enable you to use the website.
